Mazen Mokhtar: Mazen Moein Mokhtar's professional trajectory is a compelling tale of transition from technology to global humanitarian leadership. With a foundational Computer Science and Engineering degree from Johns Hopkins University, he began his career in the high-tech corridors of IBM and AT&T Bell Labs, rapidly establishing himself as a skilled innovator. His technical prowess soon led him to entrepreneurial ventures, culminating in creating MindCraft, a specialized IT consulting firm that delivered cutting-edge solutions to a diverse clientele, including Fortune 500 companies. Driven by a deep-seated desire to make a more direct social impact, Mazen shifted his focus towards the nonprofit sector in the early 2010s. As the Executive Director of the Muslim American Society, he infused the organization with new vitality, leveraging his strategic acumen to expand its programs and outreach, particularly in youth development and community engagement. His success at MAS paved the way for his next role as the CEO of Baitulmaal, a prominent international humanitarian organization.
